International Relations

International Relations analyses and articulates the foreign policy of a state. The academic subject has a wide scope which includes human rights, diplomatic relations, world finance, economic development, globalization, state sovereignty, international security, nuclear proliferation, world security, foreign interventionism and religion.

FACULTY OF SOCIAL SCIENCESA wide range of careers exist for people with International Relations degrees, some of which include being a Consular assistant, foreign policy analyst, Translation specialist, Immigration inspector, historian, International finance analyst and an NGO administrator.

The minimum entry requirement for admission into the Marketing program at Southwestern University are:

Credit level passes in 5 relevant subjects at (SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB) O’ Level result or its equivalent, obtained at not more than two sittings and with JAMB/JUPEP/IJMB/OND/HND, Advance Level result.

UTME REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must sit for the current JAMB UTME exams and attain the National cut off mark as a statutory requirement for entry into a Nigerian University.
